Violence is increasing against believers who stand for truth or even just praying quietly outside an abortion clinic. What should be our response? There is a time and place for everything, including self defense…

If all Christians were bullied into silence and/or killed because they refused to act in self defense, how does Christianity survive? …It doesn’t.
It is one thing for me to decide to be passive if attacked *because of my faith in Christ*. It is quite another for me to stand aside and do nothing about an assault on another person, especially one who is weak or small or young. God is just. I cannot be just like my Father unless I defend my good neighbor from harm.
Amen. That’s exactly what I think. I can choose to take a beating for the sake of the gospel. But to stand by and allow someone else to suffer when I can help is as evil as beating them myself.
I’m just starting the video. But before I see your opinion I’ll throw out mine. I can understand pacifism or “turning the other cheek” when it’s you yourself being beaten or something. But as Christian MEN I disagree with the pacifists who refuse to use violence to defend others who are being hurt or beaten. A pastor I have a ton of respect for when it comes to his expository preaching of the scripture said he wouldn’t t even use violence against a rapist who was harming his family. I think that is foolish. God made men strong to protect the weak. And he is failing in his duty if he chooses not to do that. Now I’ll continue the video. 🙂
Amen. If my father or husband will not protect me, wow…
@Fat Junie’s Farmette yeah. I dont think that’s being pacifist or “non violent” its just being a coward.
