Absolutely, And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town. Matthew 10:14
It’s sad that Satans most powerful tools against evangelicalism in the last 100 years are Covid and CRT.

Cross politic has a video up from the conference. ( midweek fix: live at SBC w/ Choc Knox) They have a different perspective on leaving SBC or not that would be good to listen to as you weigh your options.
Edited to add: they’re talking with Rod Martin.
Thanks for the tip Meg. Listening now. It certainly is a different perspective than our own.
I agree, Rod Martin is politically astute, no doubt.
But where is the spiritual line for CBN?
Even when the SBC elects a woke, egalitarian, Trinity denying President… CBN and Founders congratulate & pray for him as a brother.
If CBN & Founders drew a clear line in the sand, that’d be one thing. Instead, they have responded in the exact way that got the SBC into this ungodly mess.
@Running With Endurance Good points. I did watch the response from Ascol and the other guy from Founders congratulating Litton, and saying something along the lines of, “He’ll probably do a good job.” (At least, that was the message I got from it) I thought, “Really? Are you kidding me?” Here’s another video from Dividing Line: “A Live Report from the SBC in Nashville from Dr. Buck”
We’re new attendees at a little (LITTLE!) SBC church out here in WA state. When we started attending 18 months ago, I naively thought, “Well, the SBC won’t have the nonsense I was seeing in our former denomination, anyway.” LOL! Little did I know we were jumping into the fire! Our pastor has been preaching through Romans most of this past year, with little comment on the firestorm in our nation or in the SBC. Part of me is grateful, because it’s the foundational gospel truth, which is what we all need. The other part of me thinks that he needs to help the flock process what’s going on. I honestly don’t know how much he understands; when I did ask him last summer what his thoughts were on social justice, etc, he sent me something from Al Mohler, which was all lovely, until at the very end he basically contradicting everything he’d just said. My pastor said, “I can’t say it any better than this.” (sigh) Anyway, at this point, I think we’ll start stipulating for our tithe to stay local, and none of it to go elsewhere. Other than that, we’re all muddling through like the rest of the world! God will give clarity, though it might not happen all at once…
