Either you buy into Critical Race Theory and teach it to your students or you will be fired. That’s the word in Portland, Oregon.

I have family in Portland, Oregon. They have nothing to do with us in Mississippi and Alabama because we are conservative. They are all super liberal. I’m a born again follower of Jesus. I’m especially shunned. We used to visit every year. I haven’t visited them in about 20 years. Those people on the West Coast have really gone off the tracks.
Sorry to hear that about your family Warren. -jp
As an American of Mexican descent I’d be pissed if someone referred to me or my children as BIPOC, especially what appears to be a white woman wearing African garb saying it.
There are some who have Christ who believe this demonic garbage!!!
Sadly -jp
The more I see of this the more disgusting ????. I pray that people will see this deception for what it is. A communist struggle session. I undoubtedly understand your frustration JP. It’s so evil, subversive and diabolical it could only come from one source. And communism has proven its evil time and time again. Also, Critical race theory is well racist. It’s so far from the dream of Dr. King and the values I grew up believing in. Judging people not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. It’s hard to watch but this witness will no longer be silent about it. We are so lost and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. No matter what we do, his will be done.

Years ago (gee, until about one year ago…lol), I used to think that the coming persecution of Christians would be similar to persecution of the past: that is, a distinctly religious persecution. (“Disavow faith in Jesus Christ,” etc) While it may come back to that in time, what this past year has made clear is that Satan has set in place an entirely different approach. Those who stay faithful to Biblical Truth, and that includes the nature of Man and the genders God created, will be labeled as “harmful” and “dangerous.” It will not be a direct religious attack, but one from the side, appealing to “compassion, empathy, love.” It will sound oh, so good and righteous! Looking back, it is obvious now to see how this trap has been laid over the past decades, and the small little ways it was tightening. This past year, the entire plan became visible. At least, if you are paying attention and aware. lol
I’ve been reading Jeremiah, and this in chapter 26 caught my eye yesterday:
“12 Then Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people: “The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the things you have heard. 13 Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you. 14 As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right. 15 Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”
Wanted to add:
Reading these words simplifies our dilemma greatly. When the time comes, I pray I will be able to boldly say, like Jeremiah, “I believe the Bible and I will obey God, not you. However, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right. Be assured, however, that your persecution of me will bring guilt upon yourself.”
I know that those who stay faithful will be a witness and God will save some through that witness.
Thank you Meg and stay strong. -jp
