When a white policeman showed up to do his job after a shooting in Atlanta the people told him his services were not needed. This was a demonstration in living color of Prov. 29:18. “Where there is no prophetic vision people cast off restraint.”

People of that community are brainwashed like the majority of this country it’s sad, let’s keep praying
The Black officers should have arrested those people for threatening his safety. However, they chose to submit to the mob.
You know there will be backlash, protests, vandalism and whatnot following that – had it happened. The cops showed restraint because they know it will bear fruit versus reacting in the heat of the moment.
We all know that given any other context where a civilians was being this aggressive, confrontational and threatening, then that person would have been arrested and charged without question or opposition.
@FactStorm if the backlash would have been violence the police should respond with extreme prejudice. I have absolutely no sympathy for those people.
I live in the Atlanta suburbs and if I can help it I won’t go into Atlanta for much. I grew up there and as a teenager and young adult I got my flesh filled up with all the city could offer. But even then I wouldn’t have talked to cops that way. You’d get cuffed with a quickness. Lol! Spun around and pushed to the ground quickly. A knee in your back quickly. Your arms twisted up behind your back quickly. Haha! They didn’t play so I didn’t play with them like they were dummies. Although it’s much safer where I live the kids out here are not like the ones I grew up with and it’s more than the usual teen angst against authority. At times it’s condescension for basic decency. Parenting is on the decline. When I was younger as unregenarate and as sin filled as I was, the way my parents raised me had a lasting impact on how I reacted to authority and they showed me through their behavior what it was to have a moral compass. Neither of those skills saved me but they kept me out of some trouble that my “associates” who mostly raised themselves kept falling into. Im thankful for my upbringing. Despite a Catholic upbringing my parents both were in their own ways Godly influences. I do thank the Lord for that and I pray that the Lord will bring my mother the new birth through Jesus Christ.
Thank you for speaking about this. I didn’t even know it happened.
