The demonstration of complete apostasy in many of our nation’s mega-churches continues as Pr. Andy Stanley uses gay people to shame his congregation. “A gay person has more faith…than a lot of you…We have some things to learn from a group of men and women who love Jesus that much…” Whenever a pastor tried to separate the worship of God from the obedience toward Him, it’s a red flag. Run!

Preach! You are spot on, thank you for being a true servant of God and sharing the TRUTH of His Word.
I saw this yesterday…Andy S. is a false teacher! God is separating the wheat from the chaff.
I know I’ll spend eternity with you brother but I would love nevertheless to shake your hand and thank you this side of heaven for your faithfulness! Amen!
If ever in Chicago area, look us up. New Hope Community Church, Palatine IL.
I attended his “church” about 5 years ago for a VERY short time. I told my wife we needed to find a real church after it became apparent that Andy Stanley was only preaching feel good stories from the Bible and not offering real spiritual guidance. I refer to his services as “Bible story hour time.” I’m not even surprised he said this.
Sad, sad, sad!
Brian J, what do you think of his dad? I try to watch him on tv, and I don’t know if it’s so difficult because I’m being convicted of sin, or if it’s that old feeling from childhood of God in Heaven with a big stick ready to pound me if I’m not obedient.
@llsotka I’ve heard of his dad but have never heard him preach before. I was told that Andy started his own church because he wanted to do things differently. That was way more true than I ever thought based on what you are saying about his dad.
I immediately fled uncomfortable with Andy Stanley saying “this is a church for the un-churched.” My wife wanted to participate in a small group so I agreed to it. The leaders of the group had been there for years. That made me think “how long have these people been ‘un-churched’ and if that’s Stanley’s stated goal, why doesn’t he ever discuss what people should do once they become legit Christians.” It was a HUGE red flag that I couldn’t ignore.
Brian J, thank you for replying. Charles Stanley is the kind of baptist preacher I grew up under in Texas. All God the Father, very little Jesus, so not much Grace in sermons. I think that was the reason I didn’t “meet” Jesus until I was 40, though I called myself a Christian all my life. I thank God for longevity and His persistence!
@llsotka Unfortunately too people tend to make it seem as if God shows no mercy or has infinite mercy and apathy towards sin. I guess it makes sense because humans tend to be biased in all other things outside of the church. It appears Andy went the complete opposite way of his father. I don’t agree with how Charles Stanley preaches according to the way you describe it, but his views seem less likely to have his followers end up in hell than his son. In the end, both need to realize that God will judge the teachers most harsh if they lead people wrong and adjust accordingly.
@Brian J, that’s the truth! There is no doubt the sturn upbringing of my Baptist Church is why I carry a burden for the lost, including one family member.
But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 2 timothy 3:13 … seems like this is the only passage needed now a days … come quickly !!!
I appreciate your willingness to call out those who are misrepresenting God’s Word and call them out by name, as the Scriptures call on us to do. Mark those and avoid them! Thanks again brother. I wish I could find a fellowship or a Bible study that stands for the Truth here in Los Angeles. Been looking but it is difficult.
I have a friend in that area. I was looking into churches for him. Le me know what you find.
@For Such a Time As This I will keep you posted for sure! Or conversely, if your friend finds something Godly here, let me know. Keep up the good work on your ministry!
His church is right down the road from me, and it’s part of the reason I have always said I wish your church was here in Georgia. I’ve been in Georgia (from Texas) for 9 years now and gave up on finding a church home a few years ago. I know. I know. I will try again.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂. I hope the lord provides that blessing for you!
Check out Jason Whitaker’s (dear woke christian channel) church (he’s a deacon), also April Chapman (standard of truth channel) has referrals for your neck of the woods. The G3 conference will be in Atlanta this fall, (April and Kdubtru have discount codes) you would definitely meet believers and faithful pastors if you attend.
Andy stanley is wack! You tell gays they can live in sin of course they are gonna be excited, read them this verse
and tell me that
they are still excited…..
15Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
HERE IS AHOTHER VERSE…
4Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. 5
And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 6Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. 7Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil7Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Andy stanley seems like a closet atheist trying to come out the closet.
you might be right!
Amen brother. The Word says you will know the truth and it will set you free, that truth is God’s Word.
Deuteronomy 13:6-8 should apply to the false teacher false profit and those who would lead the children of God astray
Thanks for speaking the truth!
Thank you Larry.
Andy stanley is caving to LGBTQ presure. Here is what bible says….
If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, 2and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’ 3you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4You shall walk[a] after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
5But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall [b]put away the evil from your midst.
Notice how Stanley leads his congregation to speculate, but says nothing firm. So similar to what Satan said, “Did God REALLY say…..?” And then he leaves you to doubt what God has CLEARLY said.
“I know all the clobber passages”. Why does he call God’s Word something ugly? There may be followers who have used them to clobber others, but Stanley disparages the words, not the people that have misused them.
