I follow several Christians on social media that talk like this. “This is my number, that’s why I’m this way/see stuff this way.” I like the comparison to horoscope; I hadn’t thought of it like that.
There are people that use it by saying because your this number, you’re more susceptible to this sin.
@SagnoRain, and once you have it in your head, it’s hard to forget. “If you’re searching for the truth, if you really want to know, don’t go asking everyone, just ask a Scorpio.” Learned that little ditty when I was a teenager.
I spent almost 20 years of my Christian life in the New Age mess, and what I found is not only is it demonic to its core, but it lives off ego. This subject is new to me, but I bet that anyone reading this who does this 9point nonsense has been told or lead to believe that they are special in some way. Did Jesus spend his time telling us how special we are, or did He say look to Me, “the Author and Finisher of your faith”?
sad
Sad to say, I know quite a few Christians who think astrology/horoscopes are okay. It’s terrible. The lack of discernment is horrible.
Blame the pulpits and church leaders.
A lot of Christian content coming out of Nashville are talking like this. Everything now is about the “E” not Jesus.
Not sure what you mean?
