Social ‘justice’ came to the Southern Baptist Convention earlier this year when they released a resolution regarding ‘critical theory’ and intersectionality. Pr. James explains why this is a problem.

I flashed on something from Ann Colter’s book Godless when you played the tape of that man. She said liberals always want something new and different in their problem solving, instead of learning and building from what has gone before.
I was raised Baptist, not Southern Baptist. I had to get away from the church to finally learn about Jesus, because it was all God in Heaven with a big stick ready to strike me at any time. If they are anything like that, I would suggest they stop this victim making, teach Jesus and remember that we are more than conquerors!
@ Ilsotka love Jesus and fight for his church
Great content! Totally agree! Keep posting sir!
Thank you sir.
Racial emancipation is freedom from oppression based on race not slavery.
How are you being oppressed today?
@For Such a Time As This would you accept red lining and it’s effects?
or things like the studies of ferguson that showed they were systemically charging and fining populations of their town.
Racial emancipation is freedom from oppression based on race not slavery.
You don’t understand it like fish don’t understand water. Race was created as a tool of colonization. It has never ended and it’s embedded in capitalism. And of course religion . Show me your Jesus. Is he black?
For Such a Time As This, I just did. Racism was created to funnel wealth to whites. They created a global system that they are still creating. Racism and capitalism are the same.
@Mike Cutno racism and capitalism are the same??? Gimme a break
Mike Cutno exactly
Mike Cutno exactly
@Mike Cutno cultures long before colonization had concepts of racism, modern non-white countries today like both Koreas, Japan, Mexico, China, Pakistan, Singapore have exponentially more racism than majority white nations, other primates are known to attack those that don’t belong to their groups. Your statement is like saying another natural tendency, which we dislike about ourselves, in humans belongs to one particular group; like gays invented war, or Asians invented hypergamy. You holding onto a racist conspiracy theory; is itself an example of racism in humans.
Luke Davis just stop right there bruh. You are so wrong. I live in Japan. I know many Korean, Singaporean and Chinese people. Racism is a white supremacist concept. Racism justifies imperialism. Anyway, in those countries there is not racism on the level anywhere close to what’s in America. It’s in the laws in America. Yes still to this day. They had to make the natural born citizen law during reconstruction because whites were trying to deny citizenship to blacks. Nowhere has there been dehumanization of an entire people for centuries like what happened on the Americas. That psychology of conditioning whites to believe they are superior and blacks are less than human still matters. And it pulls the trigger on a daily basis. Millions of people in jail for bullshit crimes. America is the blueprint. Japan copied western imperialism and racism when it wanted to exploit Asia. And China is now copying American prison systems to subdue the Uyghars and Tibetans. Black people in jail today are political prisoners. And that’s a historical fact. One of the planners of the War on Drugs stated the fact that their enemies were hippies and Black people so they hyper criminalized drugs. Go swim in your white supremacist ocean if you want to, it’s a slow death, most of the time.
Exactly. He’s being disingenuous at best and an agent provocateur at worst.
@Mike Cutno oooooooohhhh! Yes! Exactly! They don’t see because they don’t have to see.

CRT is being proposed by the Grand River School Board here, in Ontario Canada. I will be praying with my children. CRT will not instill equality. This is an old tool to rule, but still the same, guilty at birth.
What! So this madness has found its way into Canadian institutions. Fight it. It will lead to more identity politicking, division and resentment
@Gregory Kavivya it is before the Grand River District School board at present. I am watching ‘The Trojan Horse’ here; on You Tube, in hopes of learning to defend against it. The Canadian government is way left at present…
@howes1960 No shit! I am watching James Lindsay right now on New Discourses. This man is a hero. We need to break down the epistemic wellspring from which this shit grows. Jordan Peterson had talked about how the postmodernists view everything through a power and oppression lens but I never got the full gravity of this stuff. Even after Bret’s Evergreen episode. We are seeing that ideology being acted out today. They’re very clever though, hiding under their Black lives matter and Antifa monikers. We all know fascism is bad and that Black lives are important and matter. They know no one will object to the BLM claim so they take advantage and spread their Identity Marxism. And they’ve made it clear they want to dismantle western systems. How long till people wake up to this
Thank you. Looking forward to your next video. This theory has infiltrated good churches.
Yes it has.
Critical Race Theory is nothing but a devil in disguised. These are the ancient rebellious race that were kicked out of heaven, (as fallen angels) As they rebelled against God.
In the octaves of Light. As they fall on Earth got into human bodies they are doing the same thing again now. They want no authority that will keep them accountable at all.
They know that they’r time is up, that’s why they want everyone to join them they don’t want to go to second death alone. (First death is: you lose your physical body. But the second death is where you lose your soul and complete identity, because you misused all your line of credit/life force and there is no way that you can balance it.
Ok. Where do you get this teaching?
@For Such a Time As This , from Theosophy and the teachings of the Ascended masters.
Ah. So you don’t follow the bible?
@For Such a Time As This , Bible/Scriptures are the true foundation of Christ teachings.

Let’s just ignore the history and reality of racism, enslavement, abuse, murder, and the continued oppression and harm to people of color.
Are there conclusions from the CRT that are unbiblical? Yes. But is American Christianity replete with ungodly ideologies, policies, and actions.
No one is debating the past. It was bad. But when you say the continued oppression and harm to people of color please give me an example in 2020 of what you speak of.
I could not define CRT, so I clicked on your video for an explanation. Thanks for your clear explanation and your warning. I hope your logical arguments touch many emotionally charged hearts.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your concise and informative break down.
Thanks you.
I’m in this video 2 minutes, and I can tell that I like this guy.
thank you…
Thank you for your research and teaching. May God bless you.
Same to you!
Glad to see that even Christians and other religious communities are rising up against this divisive ideology.
The best way to beat racism is to get people to agree that biological essentialism shouldn’t be used to fix past nor present racial injustices. MLK’s classical liberal principles were right and modern civil rights activist traded those in for postmodern ideals which is based in Marxism.
“The best way to beat racism is to get people to agree that biological essentialism shouldn’t be used to fix past nor present racial injustices.” Easier said then done.
For Such a Time As This
Agreed
Clearly you’ve not familiarized yourself with the complete thoughts of MLK. I strongly suggest you read Letters from a Birmingham Jail.
Critical race theory is just conflict theory repackaged. Replace race with class and you have critical race theory.
Read books by Thomas sowell or listen to his audio excerpts on youtube if you don’t have the time.
Jeremy bell just plagiarized Marx. If he didn’t nobody would even know who Jeremy bell was.
We are actually going to be examining some Thomas Sowell essays on slavery and race as a church this fall. Looking forward to it!
Sounds good, Let me make a suggestion.
This link: https://youtu.be/VWrfjUzYvPo
This is a link to “ the real history of slavery” it’s a chapter in one of Thomas Sowell’s books.
It is over 2 hours of audio so it may take some time to fully digest, but is well worth it, especially if you find a way to break it up for your church group.
Not religious but this is a great video. Insightful and clear. Showing the primary sources is a really good idea! Thanks.
yes thanks!
What a beautiful word of truth brother. God’s truth. I’ve subscribed. Thank you for standing up.
Thanks for the sub!
4:25 here I will help you. The only in site that this can give you is to see who has been deceiving and screwing over the black community to hate whites.
Hint, this tribe likes to pose as whites but considers themselves middle eastern, they owned the slave ships that brought the slaves over, they have been exiled from 109 different countries for the past 3000 years.
Need more help… who are you talking about?
@For Such a Time As This small hats/ lampshades. Their name rhymes with ewww.
Christians in America would be much better off backing off of the demonization of Critical Race Theory, and instead focus first more on the question of what is RACE in our worldview? In the secular academy, race is now widely understood to be false—there are not discreet races (if you think so, then how many are there and where do you draw the boundaries?). I was tremendously helped in seminary courses on Race & Ethnicity when I realized that “race” is neither biblical nor scientific, but rather a SOCIAL CONSTRUCT—an ideology itself designed with the purpose of discrimination, oppression, and slavery.
Our problem in the Evangelical era is that most Christians have bought into the lie of race and have never been disabused of it by pastors, who rarely have any tool other than theologies written when segregation was still accepted as normal. Humbly start by recognizing we have blind spots. We cannot have meaningful dialogue or critique of non-Christian ideologies until we get on the same page with definitions. We have to learn THEIR language and build a bridge. Race and ethnicity are frequently conflated, yet race is usually tied to hierarchies of power (ultimately to Principalities & Powers). African-Americans have obviously been terribly victimized by racism from “whites” (again, which starts with a belief in “race” that draws false boundaries and labels around “Others”—a form of xenophobia. “White” practically just means “not Black”), so in an effort to combat it, or even if one seeks reparations, one is tempted to accept this false concept as real on its face. It is real in social terms of the effects of prejudice and discrimination, but it really is a malware in our minds that originates with the father of lies. Let us focus on this problem first before we go off labeling every liberal who talks about this theory as a Marxist. (Currently there is a political campaign and one network devoted to labeling the political opposition as ultra-liberal socialists). Don’t fall for the propaganda on either side.
I was a missionary in a communist country, so I surely know what Marxism is, but reject the fear-mongering coming out of the far-right, which any actual Marxist would label “reactionary”—because it is! Pastors who have no training at all in social sciences probably should stay out of the debate, because they simply come across as bigots with theological spears. (Because they often are). Those of us who serve in cross-cultural mission and learned Evangelical missiology, are helped by an understanding of social sciences (anthropology, sociology, linguistics, and even political anthropology). Theories are tools to help us analyze a host of “Other” cultures, but Scripture is our final authority. Those of us actually reading books on these topics are generally not in any danger of becoming less Christian. On the contrary, we become better disciple-makers when we understand how people groups relate to one another in societies that are always dominated by sin. It is sad to see a witch hunt being stirred up by Christians who should spend more time and effort getting rid of prejudice, bigotry, racism, and bad politics in their own churches, before attempting to tackle theories that they learn about from politically biased non-Christian sources such as Fox News, driven by Catholic white nationalists, not seminary professors.
“… Christians who should spend more time and effort getting rid of prejudice, bigotry, racism, and bad politics in their own churches, before attempting to tackle theories…” Do you think this is the job of the church and christians? I addressed CRT because that is what they call it. Just analyzed their systems. I would be willing to dialogue with you on the topic. Would you be willing to give your view on a video?
I can see why Trump doesn’t want to pay for this BS. Well done Trump!
@For Such a Time As This wow, agreeing with Trump supporters too? smh. Lost, just lost. ????

Critical race theory is evil racist nonsense.
What’s the correct answer to the question “was Jesus white or black?” The correct answer is “it does not matter”. Jesus saves humanity.
yes… amen
If this is the case, why is Jesus portrayed in modern images in America as white as opposed to having skin the color of burnt bronze and hair the texture of sheep’s wool? It must have mattered to someone. Why do you think that is?
@mkszaq1xsw2 who exactly is forbidding you to paint as many black Jesus as you want?
@Lewis Master typical response. It’s not about what I, specifically, as an individual, do. It’s systemic. It’s what religious institutions do. You know this already though and use individualism as a means of deflection. Go play elsewhere if you’re not interested in a good faith discussion.
@mkszaq1xsw2 the system is metaphysics; I’m agnostic. Individuals are real and drive the system. Nobody is telling you or forcing you to be in the system. You can worship black Jesus, black Buddha or the spaghetti monster. I don’t care and no else cares either. Peace
@Lewis Master the amount of privilege in this response is incredible. Oh well, clearly we’re done here. Peace.
@mkszaq1xsw2 it was a privilege to have this amazing interaction. You don’t know me and accuse me of things that have nothing to do with me when I’m only saying that you are free to do whatever as far as making your religion consistent with your aesthetics. I’m pretty sure that there are churches in Ethiopia that actually worship black Jesus and surely they would welcome you if you don’t want to start your own church wherever you are. Cheers!

If churches accept neo-Marxist propaganda I don’t know what they think they are doing. Do they know that neo-Marxism is a framework that propounds atheism? For neo-Marxists God is a construct too.

New subscriber here. You are on point about this matter. What I find amazing is how when something foul and destructive is wrapped up in overly complicated academic jargon, how people will accept it and herald it. It is mind boggling to watch.
You are so right. Much heresy is hidden among big words. And some people are fooled by big words. Thanks mejaydu!
For Such a Time As This
You are welcomed. God bless, brother.
Excellent! CT(Critical Theory ) the parent of CRT started in Germany as a way of understanding/explaining why the proletarian class did not revolt against the bourgeoisie as Marx he predicted. So, it is a post-hoc formulation. And they came up with a philosophical/psychological explanation to why that hadn’t occurred. In short, it was because the proletarians were embedded and blinded by the culture of the bourgeoisie’s , and waking (aka WOKE ) up to it is the ONLY way out ! The same logic followed in developing CRT, why was it that racism did not go away after the civil right movements??? It must be because it is everywhere, it must be build into every aspect of our society!!! These are obviously problematic as you pointed out , as they are theories …and in all honesty they are too abstract to ever be proven as truths!!
And too abstract to be proven as lies, unless you take a closer look. Which most are unwilling to do. Thus, the useful idiots!
Thank you sir. We are all God’s children and this is an idea that Satan uses to divide us for one another and from our Father in Heaven.
pro tip: watch movies at flixzone. Been using it for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Kobe Brayden Yea, I have been using flixzone} for since november myself 😀

@Kobe Brayden Definitely, have been watching on flixzone} for since november myself =)
It matters because it premieres all parts of fair modern world and is breaking the things that help those most in need. CRT is bunkum and terrifying. SHUT IT DOWN.
Actually a great video. Points out, correctly, that there is no critical thinking and analysis just ideolologies and ideas based of biases and a shallow look at history and modern society.
Thank you, should we all just put notices on billboard that this is ‘ just a theory & lots of theories are priced wrong’ ?
Good job, this was helpful.
thanks you!
By “Analytical tools” they mean the concepts they use to challenge every thing, they start from oppressed verse oppressors, language equated to power, by disrupting discourse, narrative and actively confusing and blurring the dominant one’s, Christianity, patriarchy, whiteness.
You do this by being an activist, it’s part of the THEORY.
Good comment – jp

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AND LOOKING THRU VIDEO AFTER VIDEO TO FIND A REASONABLE EXPLANATION OF WHAT RACE THEORY IS – THAT IS CONCISE AND CUTS THRU ALL THE BS THAT IS OBVIOUSLY THERE FOR A REASON. YOU ARE THE FIRST I HAVE FOUND AND I WILL LOOK NO FURTHER. SEEMS TO ME CRT IS JUST AN EXCUSE TO FURTHER DIVIDE AND TO GIVE THOSE OF COLOR WHO MAY ALREADY BE ANGRY -AND IN SOME CASES JUSTIFIABLY SO – TO CAUSE OR TAKE RETRIBUTION NOT ON THOSE THAT WRONGED THEM, BUT ON THE WHITE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE. WHEN DID WE FORGET WHAT JESUS SAID “AND YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT”. JUST LIKE THERE WILL ALWAYS BE POOR, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE MEN WITH EVIL HEARTS. BUT TO PUNISH AN ENTIRE RACE FOR THE SIMPLE REASON THAT THEY SHARE ONE PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTE IS, WELL, RACIST. WE NEED TO START LOOKING AT THE INDIVIDUAL AND HIS FRUIT TO BEFORE WE PASS JUDGEMENT. Hi myself, grew up in rural Nebraska on a farm. I never heard my father say one unkind word about anybody especially not because of one’s race. What I Learned about racism is what I saw on TV or learned of in Social studies. And just like the holocaust, in my young brain it was something unfathomable, but at that age I did not understand even what hate was. Yes I admit, if anyone has a reason to be angry and hate filled, in the United States, I would not deny that it is the African-American community. But you have a rule your life, your decisions, your worldview, I would not wish that on my worst enemy. I grew up in an abusive home, So from that perspective, I suppose I didn’t know a little bit about hate But even from a young age the things that I dwelt on we’re not how I would get even more seek retribution, I focused on how I would never ever repeat this with my own children. And I didn’t. Thank you for your fair and honest commentary. I believe that if we do not come together, those that do despise evil,It will consume us all
Amen! I would love to hear your quest of CRT. Email me if you don’t mind sharing. -JP

I believe that if we do not come together, those that do despise evil,It will consume us all
Critical Race Theory elevates interpersonal reconciliation above the Gospel of Christ which is God’s method of reconciling His worshippers to Himself through the process of salvation, sanctification, and glorificatio, of which racial reconciliation is an organic outgrowth. The more we look like Christ, the less different we look to each other!
Yes Peter. -jp

So basically you’re a racist white supremacist sympathizer. Gotcha. smh. Who knows, maybe one day they will pick you.
I’m calling on every single black citizen to come forward & share responsibility for all those brothers & sisters that were killed at the hands of law enforcement. They chose to resist arrest & fight with the police rather than surrender & comply with rightful orders/instructions being given upon their arrest which led to their demise.
One might argue, “I wasn’t even there & had nothing to do with it!!!”
Well most of the Caucasians around today weren’t responsible for slavery either yet you seek to force (critical race theory) down our children’s throats in the classrooms. How’s this…Next up, Criminal Race Theory can be added in for further discussion.
???????????? Good, good… Do you want to make your appeal on video? -jp

I’m a christian I was almost killed by pigs 11 years ago so I have been a victim of racism. I’m against critical race theory because it’s just a vehicle to turn children into liberal radical democrat voters. If the government wanted real equality they would stop killing people in other countries and bring violent pigs to justice. It’s not about promoting real equality under the law.
When you say pigs are you referring to policemen? -jp
Im sure there is no such thing as race. This guy looks just like the chinese. I couldnt tell the difference!

#fightback the left and don’t let progressive Christianity move any further forward. Some churches are teaching this also.
Yes they are -jp
RETIRED SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST, MARK ANTHONY TRAINA calls “CRITICAL RACE THEORY” CRAP!
He seems wise… -jp
For the CRT definition, go to the authors and reread Bell (first developer), then read Billings and then Crenshaw. It’s a analytical tool to expose where racism and barriers exist in our political and institutional structures to help close equity gaps and provide access to all its citizens. The problem is the conservative right wingers are adding false components and untruths to scare people and maintain status quo.
Are you saying my definition is not correct? -jp
I love Pastor James and am so grateful to God to have discovered him through Founders Ministries and am so grateful to have him here in my own backyard in the Chicago suburbs no less. Would love to visit his church in person if my health and body will ever permit me to do so.
