People we thought were solid Evangelical leaders are turning out to have feet of clay. What’s wrong with Franklin Graham, Greg Laurie, Russel Moore, Robert Jeffress and Jack Graham that they would endorse a book written by Paula White????? Should they be considered qualified to lead anyone in the church any longer?

I have never heard the things they were saying in the video you played. I am shocked and it makes me feel sick inside.
Sadly I have heard Ms White say such things for years.
@Corkyu4ick – I’m not shocked as I’ve seen a number of YT videos of her speaking, but yes, it also makes me feel sick inside.
Maybe…and this is just me wondering ever since I heard that woman was in earshot of the President… Robert Jeffers has been working on her. Jeffers has traveled with Trump, so maybe she has too, giving him time to get her theology in order, and his recommendation of her book was a quote more about her than the book. “God’s power to transform lives”.
Hope you are right. Don’t think so. Still does not excuse the godly to promote and work with ungodly. *What fellowship does light have with darkness…”
My only knowledge of her is back when she was blaspheming, like in that video. I can’t stand to even watch her for a second.
The explanation maybe simple. Paula White chairs Donald Trump’s Evangelical advisory board. What do all of the people that endorsed White’s book have in common? Unconditional love of the president regardless of what the man does or says. Maybe they are trying to use White as a proxy to kiss up to Trump? This may not be about the president at all but we’re all these people endorsing and publicly supporting Paula White in the past prior to her being on this advisory board? That is a genuine question as I honestly have no idea.
We have to admit, no matter how any of us feel about this president, he has a strange way of getting people to expose who they really are. I’m not sure if that’s refreshing or terrifying but probably a bit of both. These pastors seem to view Trump as righteous by his mere existence instead of judging if his individual acts are righteous or not. Then you have others that deem Trump evil if helped old ladies carry their groceries and saved puppies from a burning building. Neither of these views make logical sense but logic is quickly eroding from our society.
“We have to admit, no matter how any of us feel about this president, he has a strange way of getting people to expose who they really are. I’m not sure if that’s refreshing or terrifying but probably a bit of both.” Agreed!
“Neither of these views make logical sense but logic is quickly eroding from our society.” Agreed again.
I almost hate to bring this up, but I will. Paula White herself has bragged about how she uses her lips and her hips to get her “message” across. Throughout history men have been deceived by women who used their lips and hips to influence otherwise sensible men. I do not find her to be a godly woman by any stretch of the imagination, but rather that she is being used by Satan to influence both men and women to travel down the road of destruction with her feminine wiles and unbiblical teaching.
Prosperity religion makes me ill.
I don’t begrudge anyone a chance to make a living, but the large amounts of money made at large churches, TV ministries and by certain speciality contractors and vendors have perverted our faith and is antithetical to the Word.
